International listeners will no longer be able to use the BBC Sounds app and website from Spring 2025. Instead, listeners abroad are advised to use a new service at BBC.com and on the BBC app. The content there is tailored to outside UK audiences.

Direct access to the outside UK content is www.BBC.com/audio and this appears to be BBC World and BBC Radio 4 for radio and more than 1.000 current podcasts and a rich archive of podcasts.
These changes will apply for BBC availability on internet radio implementations and devices.
As spring starts, these changes may come in effect anytime soon.
