November 1st 2024. Smart Radios offer multiple ways of radio reception. Along with FM and DAB+, Internet Radio is standard and a growing way of accessing Radio and Podcasts.
Smart Radios based on Frontier Smart Venice modules used Nuvola Service for Internet Radio, Podcasts and Favourites management. Frontier Smart terminated Nuvola Service by end of October 2024 (see information here).
airable is now servicing Smart Radios with Internet Radio, Podcast and Favourites Portal for brands that entered into a service agreement with airable. The transition of these products to the airable infrastructure and service was completed by October 31st.
Product List: Companies and brands that decided to work with airable to continue offering internetradio, podcasts (and portal for compatible Venice 6.5 products) are listed here.
Devices: For clients of these brands, there is no action required. Devices continue to work after transition to the airable infrastructure.
Portal: The airable portal is live. The URL is: https://www.airable.fm/
Users have to register at the new airable portal and add at least one device.
Favourites stored in the Nuvola portal can be exported and upload to the airable portal.
