This FAQ list provides you with information related to internet radio devices based on Frontier Smart Venice technology, switching to airable.
Frontier Smart Transition
Transition of devices to airable infrastructure starts Tuesday, October 29 and is finished latest Thursday, October 31 2024. During the transition some glitches (temporarily missing station logo) are possible and resolve after time.
Companies and brands that decided to work with airable and confirmed to continue offering internet radio, podcasts (and portal for compatible Venice 6.5 products) are listed here (Link). This list will be updated once new brands sign up.
If your product’s brand is not listed, it might still function for a while. Contact the supplier of your product.
No Update needed. Devices of licensed brands will automatically use the airable radio and podcast service.
Internet Radio and Podcast Service
Yes. should be seamless.
No app from airable. Frontier Smart apps should continue as normal.
Main navigation will be the same. There might be some minor navigation changes.

Favorites Portal
The new portal will be available at www.airable.fm some time at 31. Oct. 2024
Yes, due to privacy regulations we can’t simply move over your login info, and data between different companies.
There will be help forms on the new site. No need for registration.
There will be an export feature in the Frontier portal, and an import feature in the airable portal.
Functions mostly remain. The favorites will be shared across all devices managed. No longer able to create separate device groups.
